Contemporary Cuisine Unit in Occupational Studies Success!

Five of our learners, Brendan, Christopher, Clare, Anna, and Kate successfully completed the Contemporary Cuisine Unit in Occupational Studies bringing them within touching distance of gaining their vocational qualification in Catering, having already successfully completed the baking unit.

In this unit, they had to demonstrate knowledge of health and safety, food hygiene, and demonstrate skill in using the equipment, as well as a practical assessment in using recipes to create 3 different delicious dishes.

The learners will continue their studies after summer, working on the Hospitality Unit which on completion will earn them their vocation catering qualification.
