"Voices Meeting" hosted at Ballybay Camphill.

Today, we paid a visit to Camphill Community Ballybay to join with other communities from the north and south to participate at the “Voices” group meeting. This meeting is a self-advocacy group for Camphill Community member thought-out Ireland. A big thank you to Ballybay Community for being such great hosts!

Rt Rev Dr Charles McMullen, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland pays Camphill Community Clanabogan a visit.

Camphill Community Clanabogan was delighted to welcome a native of Omagh, Rt Rev Dr Charles McMullen, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland on Monday 4th February. We were able to show Rt Rev Dr Charles McMullen around our Day Opportunities workshops, in particular, the Social Care Farm which is in the process of being rebuilt after the horrific barn fire on the 28th of February last year. We are happy that Rt Rev Dr Charles McMullen took the time out of his busy schedule to pay the community a visit while out visiting his parishes.

Makaton Choir at the RDA

Last night, a large group of us enjoyed a Christmas Carol Concert Evening at the beautiful Edenberry Parish Church near Omagh. The event was organised by the RDA in order to receive donations to provide feeding and bedding for their horses over the winter months. A big thank you to Steven and his Makaton choir who, year after year, support this event. Their performance crowned the evening by bringing together all the participating choirs as well as the audience as they 'sing and sign' their carols.

Welcome to the Learners' Café

In case you do not know us yet: our little venture has been going from strength to strength from when we launched in March/2018.

The Learners' Café project adopts a "learning by doing" approach to help our residents to gain experience in the baking and hospitality industry. We have been opening our cafe doors to the public on a monthly basis and hosting other visiting groups in between times. Most recently, we had our spooktacular Halloween themed cafe with our own 'Trick or Treat'!
